We gotta hand it to him for just being creative.  Still a criminal, but creative as all get out.  From the Oklahoma City Police Department:

So this theft is a little bit different...This man walked into a convenience store near Britton/Broadway and was able to convince the store clerk that he was there to take over the shift for her. He was even wearing a shirt with the store's logo on it.

Once behind the register, he continued checking out customers for several minutes before ultimately locking the door, stealing all the money, cigars and lottery tickets, and fleeing the business. Suspect was seen driving a blue mid-90's Chevy Suburban. Crime Stoppers w/tips 405-235-7300 or www.okccrimetips.com. Case # 20-22825
